Taskaty — SaaS Task Dashboard
Most task tools force a single mental model on everyone — a Kanban board, or a list, rarely both. Teams who think visually get along fine; teams who think linearly or by date end up bolting on a second tool, switching between a board app, a calendar, and a spreadsheet just to track the same work.
Looking at the tools people already reach for made the gap clear: Trello's board view is excellent but weak once you need a list or calendar; ClickUp-style tools are flexible but overwhelm new users; Asana and Jira pack in every feature and end up visually cluttered. The opening was a dashboard that offers all three views without the cognitive overload.
Taskaty answers that with Board, List, and Calendar views behind a single tab bar, so switching views never means losing your place. Task detail and creation open as centered overlays rather than new pages, a fixed sidebar keeps navigation one click away regardless of scroll position, and color-coded status chips and progress bars let people scan a project's health without reading every card.

3 Views, One Tab Bar
Board, List, and Calendar are one click apart from a single tab bar, so switching views never costs users their place or context.
Overlay Modals
Creating or opening a task uses a centered overlay instead of a new page — the board stays visible behind it, preserving spatial context.
Fixed Sidebar
A persistent sidebar keeps workspace navigation one click away, no matter how far a list or calendar has been scrolled.
Status Chips
Color-coded chips for To Do, In Progress, and Done let people read a board's status at a glance, without reading every card.
Progress Bars
List view pairs a percentage with a visual bar on every row, so completion reads both numerically and at a glance.
